Scott Siganto

MANAGING DIRECTOR

Scott began his printing career as a Graphic Reproducer specialising as a scanner operator. In 1994 he moved to London and worked at Metro Photographic for 2 years in one of the first Digital Imaging departments. After arriving back on the Gold Coast in 1996 he realised an opportunity existed to combine multiple jobs onto a sheet to share associated cost of goods for each job. It was then that Scott decided to become the Gold Coast’s first trade only printer. Over the past 20 years he has constantly looked for ways to automate, systemize and streamline workflows to give not only IBS but their thousands of customers the competitive edge needed to resell print.

Kelly Mackay

GENERAL MANAGER

Kelly joined IBS in 2016 as General Manager. A qualified solicitor, Kelly also has over 20 years senior management experience in the IT, sporting and tourism/hospitality sectors. A business growth specialist, Kelly has overseen numerous businesses through periods of rapid expansion and has received a number of Management, Marketing and Business Innovation awards throughout his career including the Australian Institute of Management FNQ Young Manager of the Year.

Natalie McCauley

Chief Marketing Officer

Having grown up on the coast, Natalie stayed local to study a bachelor of Business majoring in Marketing at Bond University. After being awarded the Price Waterhouse Top Bachelor of Business Graduate, learning from some of the Gold Coast’s best business leaders, she knew she wanted to keep developing her career skills locally. She began working at IBS in 2013 as Marketing Co-Ordinator and was promoted to Sales & Marketing Manager within a year at the age of just 21. She now heads up the team as CMO. Her passion for creativity, design and print has helped shape the company into its industry leading position today.

Iana

Iana Withers

Operations Manager

Iana began her career at IBS in 2006 where she was employed in administration. Over the next few years she showed so much promise that was trained in finance and completed both her Cert IV in Business Administration and Cert IV in Accounts Administration. In 2015 Iana’s determination and work ethic lead her to be promoted to Finance Manager and then Operations Manager and has played an integral part in helping the company grow throughout her time in senior management.

Alan Dyer

PRODUCTION MANAGER

Having worked in the print industry for 30 years, Alan was our first pick when we came to recruit a Production Manager. He has extensive knowledge in pre-press, printing and finishing and has developed strong industry connections in his time in the industry. Since working with IBS he has increased efficiencies resulting in 99% of jobs leaving on time or early. A figure we’re proud to stand by.

Our History

1996

IBS was Founded

Scott Siganto and Mark O'Donnell established IBS Cards, the Gold Coast’s first trade print supplier.

2003

Premises Purchased

IBS purchased our first factory where we could house our own machinery, the first of many purchases as we would continue to grow and expand over the coming years.

2006

Expansion & Second Factory Purchase

Due to rapid growth, we purchased a second factory adjoining the first, allowing us to add printing and finishing equipment to meet the demands of the business.

2007

Sole Directorship

Scott Siganto became the sole director of the IBS while Mark left to pursue other business opportunities.

2008

Invested in Robust MIS System

We hired developers to build a customised Management Information System (MIS) that would manage workflow and optimise efficiencies for IBS and our clients. We elected to develop the MIS ourselves, rather than purchase an out of the box solution that wouldn’t meet all of our needs.

2009

Purchased First KBA Offset Press

We invested in a high quality, waterless offset UV KBA press, for a faster, more consistent print and instant drying time.

2011

Purchased Second KBA Offset Press

Our second KBA press purchase helped us keep up with the ever-growing demand and allowed us to continue delivering to fast turnaround times.

2013

Launched IBS Web Portal

After years of development, we released our streamlined, user-friendly web portal, where trade customers could quote and order online. The site received great feedback and quickly became the most user-friendly portal in the industry.

2016

Purchased Indigo 7800

The long-awaited introduction of this digital press allowed IBS to expand our stock collection and reduce minimum quantities and turnarounds for resellers and their clients.

2018

Purchased Wide-Format Machinery

We invested heavily into state of the art wide format machinery, including an Océ Roll Feed UV Gel Colarado & a Zund ProCut 1600XXXL Flatbed Cutter. We also purchased a Konica Minolta NCR Machine to keep up with continued growing demand.

2019

Finishing Equipment & Trade Only Design Service

We launched a trade only Graphic Design service to support our clients, following feedback that they were often too busy to take on additional work. The fast and efficient service has been a welcome addition to the IBS offering and a way to help our clients grow.

We also purchased a Duplo DBM600 stitching line and Neopost Mach5 envelope printer which added booklets and envelopes to our range, and a RiteRoller Applicator Table for our Wide Format department.

2020

Purchased Heidelberg Speedmaster

The Heidelberg Speedmaster XL75 joined the IBS family in 2020. As an A2 press, it was double the size of other offsets we were using and allowed us to produce bigger runs at 3 times the speed.

We also launched our promo product line with over 200 products, and our popular 72 Hour range, giving clients an option for fast, 3 day turnaround on some of our most handy promotional items.

2021

Brand New Website and New Service Offerings

We launched our much anticipated new W2P website (the one you’re currently on) with exciting new features such as consolidated freight, easier ordering and Canva design options. We’re developing more features to be added soon.

We launched our Virtual Assistant service to give clients more time back in their day and provide trusted, reliable and experienced team members to support their project or business needs.

We also launched our Retail Websites service so clients could expand their offering and become a one stop shop for their customer’s printing and online needs.
